Can I purchase fence materials only?

Yes! You can purchase fence materials without paying for installation.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes we are! Licensed, bonded and insured with all necessary requirements met.

Do you offer financing?

Yes! We offer 6 month financing with approved credit through Wells Fargo. No deposit is needed if you qualify for the full amount. Learn more about our financing here.

Do your fences have warranties?

We have our own warranties on several fence materials which you can view here. Any materials used from other manufacturers are warrantied by said companies.

What areas do you service?

For residential work, we service within 45 miles of Morris, IL. For commercial, we service nationwide.

How long have you been in business?

Acosta Fence has been around since 1992.

How much fencing will I need?

The size of your fence is calculated in linear feet. Your sales representative will calculate this for you during your estimate.

Will you dismantle/haul away my current fence?

Yes, and if you are replacing your current fence, a seperate cost will be applied for tear down and removal.

What if I live within a Homeowners Association (HOA) community?

Most HOAs have fence guidelines in their bylaws. You may need to get the HOA’s approval prior to installation.

Do I need a permit?

Most communities require permits for fence installation. Be sure to check with your city, township or county for all necessary information.

What is a plat of survey? Do I need a copy of it?

A plat of survey is a scaled map of a property showing property boundaries and structures. We use this to determine where to place your fence. Your plat of survey may be held by your mortgage company, a government agency, or the land surveyor who produced it. Check with them to see if they have a copy. If not, contact a surveyor to create a new one as this document is required prior ro installation.

Do I need to know where I want gates to be installed?

It is a good idea to know the number of gates you’d like as well as where you’d like them installed. Keep in mind to take into consideration traffic flow, grade changes, and objects such as lawn mowers that may need to pass through when thinking about size.

Installation & Service

Yes! You can purchase fence materials without paying for installation.

Do you install previously-purchased materials?

Yes we do! However, our warranties only apply to materials we provide.

Do you install fences during the winter?

Our installation and repair services exist year-round. Please note however that installation may be delayed should weather conditions prevent us from working outside.

Do you repair existing fences?

Yes! We are more than happy to review any issues you are having with your fence, including ones installed by us!

What if I have landscaping near or on the installation area?

We do not offer landscaping services, therefore any plants, shrubs, or trees around in the area should be removed prior to installation.

What are private utilities? Why do I need to mark them?

Private utilities are those which have been installed by the homeowner (i.e. shed, garage, outdoor lights, sprinkler systems, invisible fences, etc.). It is your responsibility to mark their locations before we arrive. If said utilities are not properly marked and are damaged suring service, we are not liable.

What is JULIE?

JULIE is the Joint Utility Locating Information for Excavators. They locate and mark all public utilities (i.e. cable lines, power lines, and gas lines). State law requires everyone to contact JULIE prior to any digging-related project. The record is normally in the name of the individual/company doing the digging, therefore you do not need to contact them. Learn more about JULIE here.
